  • Show enhancement - Flags/props
  • Uniform repair and maintenance
  • Instructors
  • Band Camp cost - food and drink
  • T-shirt (of the years shown)
  • Food provided at certain times through the year
  • Registration costs - competitions, FBA, MPA, etc.
  • Drum heads, repairs
  • Music and drill
  • Bus transportation
  • Equipment Transportation
  • 2 pair of gloves
  • Awards
  • Flip Folder (new members)

(all of these things are NOT provided by the Polk County School District)

Other costs involved:

  • Instrument rental ($50) per semester (sousaphones, bari sax, tenor, baritone, mellies, trombone)
  • Drumline rental ($25)
  • Marching shoes ($25) (purchased from band)
  • Black socks
  • Black Athletic shorts ($15 or less, may be purchased from band)
  • Khaki pants ($20)
  • Drill chart 3 ring binder w/sheets ($3)
  • Water thermos
  • Instrumetn Lyre ($5, may be purchased from band)
  • Drum sticks and Mallets (percussion only, $30)
